Things You'll Need:
- Patience
- Determination
- a good gynaecologist
- Your spouse
-
Step 1
First you need patience and determination. So go see your Gynaecologist, get blood work done and find out why your periods are not regular
-
Step 2
Chances are your thyroid levels are out of wack, you may have poly cystic ovary or a number of other reasons
-
Step 3
Do as the doctor says go to the specialist and get your problem fixed
-
Step 4
Go back to your gynaecologist. If she/ he does an examination and the blood work and everything else is normal then chances are he will give you progesterone to induce a period
-
Step 5
Enquire if you will need to use clomid and if it can be prescribed.
-
Step 6
For those women who have irregular periods clomid will ensure that you will ovulate around the 14- 16th day of your menstrual cycle. Also clomid causes you to ripen more eggs so the chances of pregnancy increase.
-
Step 7
Make sure you are relaxed and have sex through days 14-16 of you menstrual cycle.
-
Step 8
Check for pregnancy on day 21 by blood test or wait for the time when you miss your period and do the home test.
-
Step 9
Chances are if you continue to try you could get pregnant in a month or it could take even 6 months. Don't be discouraged keep trying!
