Bearded Dragons are very docile and will seldom bite or scratch. They are very popular and the reason why they stay still in your hand is that it freezes and doesn't move because it's scared or you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Bearded dragon(of course)
  • Gloves(optional)
  • A quiet place without distractions
Step1
First, you have to gently scoop the bearded dragon from below on its chest using two hands. Never grab its tail as it will fall off and it will look ugly.
Step2
Now place the bearded dragon on your palm or your arm.If you are using your hands, you have to support the lizard by placing one hand under the tail and one on the chest. At this step, it is VERY important to not drop your bearded dragon. This may cause serious injuries.
Step3
Usually, it will stay still for quite a while, spying you.If you do this often, you can tame bearded dragons that have an aggressive attitude. Remember, once it feels accustomed to you and starts to squirm a bit, DO NOT freak out or you will make the bearded dragon nervous. Remember to wash your hands after handling.
Step4
CONGRATULATIONS!!! You have succeeded in holding your beaded dragon.
