So you just left the salon and you notice a dark spot on your front hairline. You should never have this happen but it does from time to time. You have to have that spot gone before you work tomorrow.

Just take a tip of a towel and put a dab of shampoo on it. Find an ash tray and put a dab of ashes on it. Gently rub into skin. Must be done ASAP after application of color. I did hair for 14 years at an upscale salon, my clients left clean and without pain or over exfoliated skin!!!

If your someone like me who has to dye their hair often and can't afford the luxury of going to a saloon and have to dye your own hair then you know the dye is going to get on your skin. if there's alot you can take a tissue and gently wipe off as much as possible or just wait till your time is up after you have rinsed out the dye while your hair is still sopping wet take the ends of your hair and rub it on your face along the hair line and any where you notice the dye got on your skin (this tip was given to me by a beautican unfortunately your hair has to be long enough to be at least collar length or longer)

on 5/29/2008 You can also just use a little nail polish remover on the spot. Just be sure to use soap and water on the area once the spot is gone.
