Make a poster from your own digital photos

Use your own digital photos and make a photo poster.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • ClickBook
  • A Photo with high resolution
  • A Printer (preferably color)
  1. Step 1

Make sure ClickBook is installed. If you don't have ClickBook, you'll need it. Go to http://www.bluesquirrel.com or http://www.clickbook.com to get ClickBook. There are links to these sites at the bottom of this article.

  2. Step 2

Open your photo in a photo viewer or in Microsoft Word. Choose File > Print. For windows: Choose "ClickBook Printer" and hit OK.

  3. Step 3

Hit the Poster button, and specify the size of your poster. ClickBook will let you know how many pages it will take. Hit Print.

  4. Step 4

A 1/2" (1.25 cm) overlap will be printed on each page to help you line up the pages. You can tape the pages together, or you can glue them on a substrate, like poster board. If you are framing the poster, you can tape the pages together and tape them to the inside of the glass frame.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure your image is high resolution.
  • Use photo paper and a high-quality photo printer for the best results
  • For large photos or wall murals, use the small numbers printed in the margin area to assist in assembling the poster or mural.
  • If you are using MS Word to print the photo poster, only use the corners to drag/size the image, otherwise it will distort the image. Hint: You can make people look slender by squeezing the photo a bit.
