A woman's period is a pain of it's own. Here's a few tips to control the PMS pains so you can get back to being yourself again.

  • Midol/Tylenol
  • Epson Salt
  • A hot bath
  • Time alone/ time for a work out
  1. Step 1

    OTC painkillers are most effective when taken at the first twinge of pain (or if taken the day before your period to prepare for what's to come).

  2. Step 2

    Excersizing is key to reducing cramps by creating your natural flow of endorphons and promoting blood flow.

  3. Step 3

    A nice hot bath with epson salts with a relaxing atmosphere also can ease cramping. Also, to ease stress is to ease cramping. You can also use a heating pad for comfort out of the bath.

  4. Step 4

    Taking the Pill also will help to regulate your period so you can be ready for the monster cramps to prepare ahead of time.

  5. Step 5

    Being sexually active with stimulation (experts believe) lessen cramping beacuse it triggers a rush of endorphons such as it would with excersizing.

  6. Step 6

    Get plenty of sleep and drink plenty of water to lessen the cramping.
