How to prevent fire

Fire can happen at anytime, at any place, to anyone. We should all try to prevent fire. My article will help give you tips aon how to achieve this.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

1. Always stay in the kitchen while cooking. Never leave your stove unattended, things could happen
2. Keep things that can burn, such as dishtowels, paper or plastic bags, and curtains at least three feet away from the range top.
3. Before cooking, roll up sleeves and use oven mitts. Loose-fitting clothes can touch a hot burner and catch on fire.
4. Never leave candles unattended.
5. Never leave barbecue grills unattended while in use.
6. Keep space heaters at least three feet away from things that can burn, such as curtains or stacks of newspaper. Always turn off heaters when leaving the room or going to bed.
7. Have a service person inspect chimneys, fireplaces, wood and coal stoves and central furnaces once a year. Have them cleaned when necessary.
8. Keep things that can burn away from your fireplace and keep a glass or metal screen in front of your fireplace.

Tips & Warnings

• Fire is very dangerous and of such you should NEVER leave small children alone in kitchen or allow them to used the stoves. Also never leave them at home alone without a RESPONSIBLE person.
