How to Make a Lychee Martini

Here is a unique cocktail recipe using lychee, a tropical fruit native to Southern China. You can find them in open markets in Chinatown or canned in your grocery store.

Things You'll Need

• Ice
• Vodka
• Cocktail shaker
• Canned lychees in lychee juice
• Club soda
• 2 lychees for garnish
• Chilled martini glass

Instructions

1. Combine ice and 2 oz. of vodka in the cocktail shaker.

2. Drain 1 oz. of lychee juice from the can, combine it with the ice and vodka and add 1 oz. of club soda.

3. Shake well and strain into the chilled martini glass.

4. Add the lychees for garnish.

Tips & Warnings

• For an added presentation, rim the glass with fresh ginger prior to making the drink and dip in colored sugar that you can find at home or houseware stores.
