How to Make A Mother's Day Gift She'll Remember Forever!

Would you like to give your Mom a gift for Mother's Day that she'll never forget? One that is totally unique and not at all expected... yet doesn't have to cost you a dime. You can make it yourself even if you're not even the crafty type!

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Container with lid
• Paper
• Pen
• Good Memory

1. Get a container. This can be a simple glass jar or use your imagination. If you prefer, you can even purchase a pretty container and make that part of your gift.
2. Decorate your jar or container if you like. Ribbons, bows or maybe go at it with a hot glue gun with some pretty beads, decoupage... or make your own mosaic pattern on it. Again, use that imagination!
3. Now for the actual gift you are going to put into this container!
   
   MEMORIES!!
   
   Cut little slips of paper and write down your favorite memories. One per slip of paper. I prefer them small almost like fortune cookies. You can type them and print a sheet out with your printer if you prefer.
4. Have multiple siblings? Even more fun! Have everyone contribute to the jar/container! Even Dad!
5. What better way to show Mom that you truly care and truly remember her this Mother's Day?

Tips & Warnings

• Be sure to give yourself enough time to come up with all those memories
• Use a variety of different colored paper
• Be sure to attach a sweet gift tag explaining what the jar is.
• A nice poem attached would be nice.
• Don't allow small children to use a hot glue gun
• Keep small beads away from tiny children and pets
• Have an adult do the cutting of the paper slips
