design rooms in a Mansion

You may not live in a Mansion so this may take a lot of creativity on your part... Just close your eyes and try to imagine what it would be like in this very large home... It is then time to design and decorate it!

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • graph paper
  • pencils
  • coloured pencils
  • images of homes taken from magazines
  1. Step 1

A Mansion is an enormous space so when working with graph paper we shall have a sheet of graph paper for each room... We will begin by using our pencils to plot our the furniture and where it all goes in relationship to the room...

  2. Step 2

Remember this space is yours to design so do not hol back on the designs you come up with plot them all on your graph paper as a circle stands for a table and squares around it stand for the chairs... you can use any shape you choose to plot out a table & chairs and a bed in a bedroom....

  3. Step 3

Have furniture all have numbers and then decorate by refering to Interior Design Magazines and using fabric scrps and paint colour samples taken from your local Home & Garden center....

  4. Step 4

The images will bring the decoration to the designs to life! When working with the design of an interior design space, especially this large, be prepared to put a lot of thought into it and spend days, if not weeks on the design for t!
