How to make a grasshopper shake

Here are the simple steps to making a genuine grasshopper shake.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Blender
• Ice Cream
• Ice
• Creme de Menthe White
• Creme de Menthe Green
• Spatula or wooden (or plastic) stirring/mixing spoon.

1. Put 4 regular sized ice cubes in the blender.
2. Ice cream and ice in the blender Add 4 scoops of ice cream.
3. Creme de Menthe Green Pour in less than a 1/4 of a cup of Creme de Menthe Green.
4. Creme de Menthe White Pour in less than a 1/4 of a cup of Creme de Menthe White.
5. Blending Blend together.
6. Stop the blender and begin mixing/stirring with a spatula or wooden/plastic spoon.
7. Add more to add color and desired flavor (and liquor content) Add more Creme de Menthe (both white and green).
8. More ice cream to make the shake thicker Add more ice cream.
9. Blend again.
10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 until you have the shake to a consistency you like (more if you want it thicker).
11. Yum!! Pour into glasses and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

• Use chocolate chip mint ice cream for extra green and extra mint.
• For even more sweet minty flavor, toss in some Andes Mints in the blender.
• Use a good blender, a cheap one will break down if it has to chop ice.
• Enjoy in moderation. These can sneak up on you and can be stronger than one would anticipate.
• Don't drink and drive.
• Make sure to stop your blender before you mix the ingredients with the wooden spoon.
