How to Preorder the Wii Fit online

The Wii Fit is hailed to be the new way to get families to exercise together.
Sure, it's another gimmick, but it just might make exercising fun!

To get your hands on the Wii Fit on the release date may be a bit tricky if you're planning to go and buy it in the shops.
It is predicted that there won't be many available to buy and so making a pre-order will be the best way to be sure to get one

• Computer to get online
• Delivery details
• Payment details - credit/debit card
• Email account

1. Get online and find out which store is still accepting preorders. A lot of the stores will disable the pre-order function when they have sold their allocated stock, but others will continue preorders and let you know when it will be delivered.

2. Once you have found a store, click the 'buy', 'preorder' or 'add to cart' button.
   The next page should show a shopping cart where the delivery charge will be added. Some sites will not let you go any further if they cannot fulfill your pre-order.

3. Make sure you are happy with the final price. Some stores are doing free delivery or have discount codes to enter, so enter them here.
   Enter your payment and delivery details. Your payment will not be taken until the item is sent out.
   You should then receive a confirmation email. Some stores will even send a letter confirming your pre-order. If you do not receive one then email the store to confirm your order - sometimes they just don't go through!
   
   As these stores do not yet have physical stock they may not be able to give you an actual delivery date. Once their stock arrives they should confirm that your item has been sent, or at least let you know when they will be sending it

4. Make sure you save the email/letter as this will have your order number on it.
   
   Most stores will send the Wii Fit out so as you will have it on the release date.
   If you do not receive anything by this time, even a dispatch email, then contact the store to ask when it will be sent out.

Tips & Warnings

• It is best to ensure you use a store you know - high street names, store you've ordered from before - as there will be a lot of scammers offering cheap Wii Fit packages.
• Have a look on the internet for some money off codes or discounts - forums, blogs etc
• Have your details ready - delivery and payment details.
• Make sure the delivery address is correct.
• Save the confirmation email.
• Wait for your delivery!
• Watch out for scammers, especially on Ebay - if it's too good to be true, it probably is!
• Make sure you are buying a the right version. A Japanese Wii Fit will only work with a Japanese Wii console!
