Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- 20-30 gallon tank depending on quantity
- Asian forest scorpion
- Heat mat
- Forest bed or soil
- Secure lid
Step1
You have to fill up the tank with the soil at about 4-5 inches thick so they can dig.Digging is the asian forest scorpion's life!A hiding place is optional but you dont really need it due to their burrowing.
Step2
After you place the scorpion in its habitat, it is important to leave it alone for about a week or so.This is very critical because it allows the scorpion to adjust to its new habitat.
Step3
After the week is over, it is time to feed the scorpion.About one or two crickets every other day is good but you don't want to over-feed the scorpion.
Step4
You must also keep the humidity to 70-85%. You can do this by spraying the enclosure about twice every other day of the week. Also, don't keep the humidity too high or fungi and mold will grow on the soil.
Step5
Here is the note on handling.Always keep handling to a minimum to keep your scorpion from being stressed.
