This is an article about how to clean stained dentures... my mom's way.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bleach, Efferdent, or something similar you can soak your dentures in
  • Cup or small container
  1. Step 1

Get your cup or container out and fill with product of choice. My mom uses Chlorox bleach mixed with warm water (1/4 cup bleach and 1 cup water). If using Efferdent or something similar, follow package directions.

  2. Step 2

Place dentures in mixture and allow to soak overnight.

  3. Step 3

In the morning, remove dentures from cup and brush/rinse well. If you use bleach, be sure to rinse dentures extremely well. This should remove any stains from your dentures... my mother swears by it.

Tips & Warnings
  • If using bleach, rinse dentures extremely well.
  • If you think you've rinsed enough, rinse one more time, just to be sure.
