Sometimes we're filled with anger at a particular person. It could be a boss, teacher, sibling or the ever popular ex-boyfriend or girlfriend. If you're thinking of making a voodoo doll, make a hate relief doll instead. Now you can have an emotional outlet or release. Your hate relief doll can send you on the path of healing in a jiffy.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Doll
  • Pins and needles
  • Hammer

Step1
Select a doll. Name your doll after the object of your wrath. Call it by name a few times as this allows the name to stick. The doll becomes an emotional substitute for the person.
Step2
Personalize the doll by adding clothing. Accessorize with objects from your substitute person, such as glasses, a hat and clothing.
Step3
Take the hate relief doll somewhere private. Find a place where you can say and do anything you feel without worrying about interference.
Step4
Tell the doll what it did or said to hurt you. Use a loud voice and express your anger at it.
Step5
Smack the doll to get its attention. Then stick pins and needles in the doll to express the depths of your ill will towards it. Use a hammer to kill the doll and end any emotional attachment.
Step6
Dispose of the hate relief doll in the trash.

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't go out and purchase a new doll; resale shops are a great source for an item you're planning to wreck.
  • Reminding the doll of its transgressions while sticking pins and needles in it helps rid you of your hateful anger.
  • Yelling at the hate relief doll may give you a sore throat.
