How to create paw prints with your hand and paint! (Kid art project)

If you are a teacher or just love doing art projects with kids, this article will show you how to make a paw print with one hand and paint onto paper. Great for Pet week!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Brown or black Tempura paint.
  • Contruction paper (preferrably white)
  • One hand
  1. Step 1

    Have the children dip their palm and 3 fingers into the paint. (pointer, middle and ring fingers)

  2. Step 2

    You made need to make the paint on their palm appear rounded, using a paintbrush will smooth it out.

  3. Step 3

    Have the children stamp their paint colored hand onto the paper and do it several times all over the paper. They may need to dip their palm and fingers a few times or the prints will appear faded.

  4. Step 4

    Allow to dry! You now have cute animal paw prints all over the construction paper.
