We all have some part of our appearance that we are not comfortable with. Usually, it is more noticeable to us than it is to other people. Say if you have a nose that looks too long for your face, and you do not want to get plastic surgery, there are some things you can do to make your nose appear smaller.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Choose a hairstyle that includes bangs, or part your hair off-center. Center-parted hair makes a long nose look bigger.
Step2
Apply foundation to your face as you normally would. Take care to blend it in well.
Step3
Use two different shades of concealer around your nose. Apply the darker concealer on each side of your nose, and blend it into the lighter concealer, which should be used on the top of your nose.
Step4
Dust a small amount of dark bronzer or blush on the bridge of your nose to make your long nose appear smaller.
Step5
Draw attention away from your long nose to your eyes. Use eyeliner on your upper eyelids, choose a fetching eye shadow color, and don't forget the mascara!

Tips & Warnings

  • If you wear glasses or sunglasses, buy a pair that sit low on the bridge of your nose. Low-sitting glasses conceal part of your nose making a long nose appear much smaller.
  • Getting a suntan, or applying a fake tan to your face, tends to make all features look smaller, including your nose.
