How to Make Italian Seasoned Chicken

If you need a a hearty meal in a hurry, you can't go wrong with a steaming platter of Italian seasoned chicken served over hot, buttery fettuccine noodles. Add a fresh vegetable and some crusty garlic bread and you've got a delicious and satisfying dinner.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Italian seasoning
  • Garlic, minced
  • Chicken breast halves, boneless and skinless
  • Fettuccine noodles
  • Canola oil

Step1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Farenheit and grease a large casserole dish.
Step2
Combine the extra virgin olive oil with the chopped garlic and Italian seasoning in a large mixing bowl and mix it thoroughly.
Step3
Add the boneless, skinless chicken breasts to the olive oil mixture and put the bowl in the refrigerator to marinate for 15 to 20 minutes. Be sure the chicken is coated, and stir it once during that time.
Step4
Place the chicken breasts in the greased casserole dish and discard the marinade.
Step5
Bake the Italian seasoned chicken until the breasts are no longer pink in the middle, approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
Step6
Cook the fettuccine noodles according to the directions on the package and place the cooked noodles in a large serving dish. Pour the Italian-seasoned chicken over the top of the fettuccine noodles and serve immediately. The recipe makes four servings.

Tips & Warnings

  • Serve a bowl of freshly grated Parmesan cheese along with the Italian-seasoned chicken.
