Gather your girlfriends to help create a notebook to commemorate your friendship. Spend an afternoon filling the album with photos, notes, memorabilia and plenty of girly touches. When you're done, you'll have a keepsake to read and cherish for years to come.
Use a spiral-bound scrapbook album in a size you can decorate and carry easily. A 9 by 9 inch or 8 by 8 inch album would be perfect for a friendship notebook. (See Resources)

Find photos from special events, birthdays, holidays, vacations or times you've just spent hanging out together and goofing off. Also find memorabilia to include in the notebook like notes, postcards from sightseeing excursions, ticket stubs from favorite movies and concerts or flyers from school events.
3
Choose cardstock and patterned paper to coordinate with your photos. Select shades for individual layouts or use a single color scheme or pattern throughout the notebook. For example, pick an assortment of all pink papers or flower motifs to lend a girly touch to the project.
4
Select and arrange a group of photos and any accompanying memorabilia to appear on a page. Leave room on the layout for you and your friends to write details that describe the images. You can also add favorite song lyrics, movie quotes or funny inside jokes.
5
Embellish the layouts with girly accents like paper flowers, buttons, ribbon and stickers or die cuts that coordinate with the theme of the page. While you're at it, add pretty ribbon ties along the album's spiral and dangle charms from the ends.
6
Create pocket pages by trimming a piece of cardstock so it's half the size of your background page and affixing it with double-stick tape along the bottom and sides. Leave the top portion open so you can slip additional notes and memorabilia inside. Sign the front of the pockets yearbook-style to describe the significance of your friendship.
Tips & Warnings
If you'd like to create a friendship notebook that you can add to throughout the years, use a three-ring binder instead of a spiral album. Simply add more page protectors to make room for additional photos, notes and memorabilia.
