Miis are characters you create to play in your games on the Wii. Despite the fact that the Miis are not 3-dimensional and lack photo-realistic features, many celebrity miis on display in the Mii plaza are instantly recognizable. You can create Miis that look like people you know in real life by fine-tuning the details.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get a photograph of the person you want your Mii to resemble. Look at it for reference as you create your Mii.

  2. Step 2

Open the Wii channel menu. Select the Mii Channel. Select "Start." Choose a gender for your Mii.

  3. Step 3

Click on the icons for face shape, skin tone and hair color to change the Mii's properties. Use the icon with pink cheeks on the right side of the facial shape menu to add small details such as moles, facial hair and facial features, like lines.

  4. Step 4

Choose the characteristic that is most prominent on the real life person, like eye shape, eyebrows or face shape.

  5. Step 5

Modify the facial details with the tools on the right side of the screen. Adjust the features' placement and size. The icons on the first row move the item up or down. The second row tools make it smaller or larger. The third is used to rotate. The bottom moves things left or right. Try different settings until you are satisfied with your Mii's face.

  6. Step 6

Select the body icon. Use the sliders to adjust the body proportions.
