How to Listen to Music Without Getting Caught
School can be boring. So can working in a cubicle all day. To liven things up a bit, you can load up your iPod or Mp3 player with your favorite tunes. There are several ways to listen to music without getting caught.
Instructions
-
Wearing Ear Buds
-
1
Buy clear or flesh-colored ear buds if you don't already own them. Headband style speakers and ear covers are difficult to hide. To sneak music into your work or school, you must have tiny ear buds available for use.
-
2
Conceal your iPod or Mp3 player inside your clothing. You can hide it in a bra, inside a long sleeve or in the waistband of your pants.
-
-
3
Attach the speaker wire, and run it under your shirt from the device to the shirt's neckline. Pull the ear buds out the neckline
-
4
Place the ear buds in your ears and arrange your hair to conceal them as much as possible.
-
5
Turn your music on high enough to enjoy, but low enough not to attract attention. You must be able to hear someone speaking to you; such as a teacher or your boss.
Not Wearing Ear Buds
-
6
Wear a jacket or long-sleeved shirt.
-
7
Follow Steps 1 and 2 from Section 1.
-
8
Thread the speaker wire through the sleeve of your non-dominant hand. If you hide the device in the same sleeve, you can keep the majority of the wire neatly looped and secured with a twist tie.
-
9
Pull the ear buds out of your sleeve by the underside of your wrist. Hold them in your hand, keeping all excess speaker wire hidden inside your sleeve.
-
10
Lean on your hand, placing the ear buds next to your ear. You can listen to music while still writing and keeping one ear open for instructions.
