1
Email. Almost everyone has an email address and it's a good way to keep in touch with your middle school friends. Before any summer vacation or holiday breaks make sure you have the correct and current email address of all your friends.
-
2
Call. There is usually a lot of down time when you aren't in school. If you're at home you can use your home telephone or cell phone to keep in touch with your friends.
-
3
Text. Everyone that has a cell phone uses text. It's a quick and easy way to keep in touch with your middle school friends. Be sure to know the number of texts you are allowed a month. If your parents get a big cell phone bill, then you may get grounded and not be allowed to contact your friends.

4
Organize a sleepover. A sleepover helps strengthen bonds between friends. Before asking any of your friends to come over make sure it's okay with your parents. No need to get your friends hopes up if you are not able to have a sleepover.

5
Write letters. People hardly ever write letters anymore. It's a touching way to keep in touch with your middle school friends that may not be near during any breaks. Letters allow a person to show appreciation to friends in a way that is unlike a convenient email or brief text message.
