Need for Speed Carbon is another one of those racing games that should slake the thirst for those fans of racing. You have tight turns, cool cars and speed. It's one fast game. Making those sharp turns cleanly is the key to winning, so it pays to know a few ways to accomplish this.

Instructions

Difficulty: Challenging

Step1
Begin your turns as early as you can manage. This technique will be especially helpful when tacking those sharp U-turns in Need for Speed Carbon.
Step2
Take advantage of Speedbreaker, which allows you to view your turn as you do it in slow motion. Press the R3 button on your PS2 to initiate Speedbreaker in Need for Speed Carbon, then make your turn.
Step3
Make a Nitrous Turn in Need for Speed Carbon. Just as your about to go into the turn, hit that nitrous and turn, baby, turn. You have to get turning as soon as you can after activating the nitrous, or you could crash into the wall. It may take a few tries to get this technique down.
Step4
Do what's called a Drift-Nitrous turn. As you might expect, this technique in Need for Speed Carbon combines drifting and nitrous. The timing's a little tricky, but it's doable. Drift for part of the turn, then fire that nitrous and speed away.
Step5
Use that handbrake to make tight turns in Need for Speed Carbon. This is a technique that any PGR fans will recognize. Tap that handbrake lightly, loosening the rear wheel's grip on the pavement just enough so the back end whips around.
Step6
Help make those tight turns by using a "default crew member" as a blocker.
