How to Download and Install Mozilla Firefox

The web browser Mozilla Firefox uses tabbed windows so you can open as many windows as you like without the windows collapsing into one. You may also install add-ons that enhance your web viewing experience.

Instructions

1. Go to mozilla.com. Click "Download Firefox Free."

2. Click on the pop-up that asks if you want to run or save this file. You can run it from the location or save it to your computer.

3. Press run. Firefox will begin the download. This may take a few minutes. When the download finishes, a window will ask if you want to install Firefox.

4. Click on the "Continue" button. This launches the Setup Wizard, which will guide you through setup.

5. Follow the onscreen instructions to install Firefox from the Wizard. Click "Finish" when setup is complete.

6. Look for your Firefox icon on your desktop unless you asked the Setup Wizard to use a different folder.

7. Launch Firefox. Double-click the Firefox icon and use it whenever you wish to browse the Internet.
