If you have a book report due soon and you haven't read the book yet, it's time to get moving. The following steps will help you to get on track with your work so that you can finish your book report on schedule.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Write out a schedule including the days and times that you plan on reading the book and writing your book report. Give yourself enough time to do quality work.
Step2
Start reading the book as soon as your teacher assigns the book report. Find a quiet place where you can read without getting distracted, such as in your locked bedroom or in a nearby public library.
Step3
Take notes on the characters, plot, setting, theme and your opinion of the book as you're reading. This will help when you begin writing the report.
Step4
Make an outline of what you'd like to include in your book report once you've finished reading. List all of the required elements that you're teacher has told you to include in the report.
Step5
Start writing the report right after you finish reading the book and writing the outline so that the information is fresh in your mind. Your writing process will go much quicker this way.
Step6
Begin writing the report at least a few days before it's due so that you have enough time to finish it and revise it if necessary.
