How to Do the RKO Like Randy Orton

The RKO is the finishing move of two-time WWE Champion Randy Orton. The youngest heavyweight champion in WWE history is also their first 3rd generation superstar. Orton is one of the sneakiest and dirtiest wrestlers in the business. He is ruthless and will do anything to win a match. It's fairly easy to learn to give someone the RKO just like the "Legend Killer."

Instructions

    • 1

Kick your opponent in the stomach or the crotch to stun them.

    • 2

Grab your opponent by the neck, pull and turn your body. Their head should be resting on your bicep and your back should be facing them.

    • 3

Drag your opponent by their head, run and jump in the air.

    • 4

Land in a seated position, making sure that their chin hits your shoulder on impact.

    • 5

      Pin your fallen opponent.

Tips & Warnings

  • The RKO is a variation of the wrestling move known as the cutter. This can refer to any variation of a bulldog. Current WWE Booker John Laurinaitis invented the move.

  • Critics of Randy Orton call this move a rip-off of the Stone Cold Stunner used by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. The only difference being that Randy jumps to the ground while holding his opponents neck. Stone Cold kicked his opponent in the stomach, grabbed their head and dropped straight to the ground.

  • Wrestling is done by professionals and it is almost certainly scripted, so that the blows are not delivered with real force. This move should not be done by any non-professional outside of a wrestling ring. It could be lethal if executed for real.
