Sitting at home constantly doing nothing can get boring real fast. Maybe it is time to get up off the couch and start getting involved in some activities. Here are some ways to spice things up and keep yourself busy.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Read books, leave the house to see a movie or play video games at a friend's house instead of by yourself. Do something different from your normal routine.
Step2
Get a part-time job. This will expand your wallet and give you something to do.
Step3
List any goals you want to achieve and pursuse them. For example, start exercising, get involved in league sports or start writing that book. Jot down a timeline to achieve your goals for added motivation.
Step4
Find friends with different interests and see them more often. They may turn you on to new ideas and activities.
Step5
Take an impromptu road trip. Just get up and go without too much planning. Turn the mini-vacation into an adventure by improvising along the way, stopping and staying wherever you can. Bring a friend to double the fun.
Step6
Start a new hobby such as coin collecting, rock climbing or boating. Expand the repertoire of activities you can choose from when you're bored.
