Gran Turismo 4 offers racing fans an authentic motorsport experience. From minivans to Formula 1 racers, Gran Turismo brings to life hundreds of cars from all eras of automotive history. It also provides you with plenty of arenas in which you can put these machines through their paces. The pinnacle of these events are the Endurance Races.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Step1
Unlock the Endurance Hall by completing 25 percent of the game. Chipping away at the events in the Beginner and Special Conditions Halls is a good way to do this.
Step2
Head into the Endurance Hall once you've unlocked it and browse through the different races. If you're an inexperienced racer, go with one of the shorter ones.
Step3
Check out the kinds of cars entered in the race. Previewing the competition gives you a clear idea of what car you'll need to win without completely destroying them.
Step4
Go to your garage and hop into the best car for your race. Make sure your car has hard or super-hard tires and performance upgrades before beginning the event.
Step5
Revisit the Endurance Hall and enter your race. Before starting, open the "Settings" screen and tune your car according to the demands of the event. If nothing else, equip your car with long-lasting tires.
Step6
Enter the race in either A-spec or B-spec mode. The Endurance Races in Gran Turismo last as long as their titles imply, so handing the wheel to your B-spec driver is usually a wise choice.
Step7
Observe the number of laps your tires last before wearing down and plan your pit-stops accordingly. Fuel consumption is also important, but your tires almost always wear out before you run out of gas.
