How to Do a Frontside 360 on a Snowboard
Snowboarding tricks and skills are incredible to watch. Boarders spin, jump and sail through the air and make it look so easy. The frontside 360 takes the right amount of speed, the correct starting angle and the ability to keep your momentum steady to land in one piece.

1
Find a jump that gives you enough speed to make the 360 spin and land it. You want to start the jump head-on and land it comfortably before you start using it for tricks.
-
2
Begin a little to the left side of the ramp. This way, you'll have a little more room to twist your edge for takeoff.
-
-
3
Tip yourself and your board to the front edge of the ramp. Lean forward just slightly to make this move. You only want to ride your front edge until you leap from your snowboard's tail.
-
4
Follow your shoulder around clockwise as soon as you're airborne. Turn your head and your body will follow.
-
5
Grab your board a quarter of the way through your turn. Make sure you have your snowboard firmly in your hand and steady. Pull it around to complete your frontside 360.
-
6
Release your snowboard and look between your legs for a landing spot three quarters of the way through your jump. Push your body to finish the rotation.
-
7
Land slightly on the toe edge, or flat board, leaning slightly forward rather. If you land on your heels, you over-rotated. Try less push at the end of the rotation.
