How to Do the Grenade Launcher Glitch in Resident Evil

It's for good reason that Resident Evil is enjoyed by so many gamers. Despite the game's advanced play, however, it does contain some glitches. The grenade launcher glitch is one of the coolest of the Resident Evil glitches and cheats.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

1. Enter the game as Jill since only this character can get the grenade launcher and perform the glitch. Get the launcher and find at least two different kinds of ammo, such as the grenade rounds and incendiary rounds. Once you get the required ammo, arm the launcher.

2. Place ammo that's different from the ammo in the grenade launcher into the upper right-hand inventory slot. For example, if you have grenade rounds in the launcher you should put incendiary rounds in the upper right slot.

3. Approach any item box that you see and open it. Place your extra shells (those not in the grenade launcher) into the first slot of the item box by pressing the A button twice. Immediately after you do this, move the cursor to the extra rounds you just placed inside the box and again press the A button twice so you switch the shells from the item box and the grenade launcher.

4. Close the item box again and open your inventory to correct the graphic glitch that incorrectly displays the number of ammo rounds after you perform the glitch. Look at your ammo inventory which should now be around 240 or 250 rounds.

5. Perform the same step for the other round by switching which round you initially place in the grenade launcher and which you initially place in your inventory slot.
