Created in 2002, MySpace has become one of the most popular social networking websites on the Internet. MySpace lets users design their own page with backgrounds, pictures, music, information and contact boxes. A MySpace contact box allows members to add names to their friends' list, send messages to others, Instant Message on another and more.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Open a MySpace contact box generator like Blibs or SpacePimping.

  2. Step 2

Upload a picture as the background for the contact box. If you do not have a picture, use basic colors. Any image saved on your computer works as a background. The picture can be a family photo or a random image of a butterfly found in a Google Images search. To save an image found online, right-click on the picture and select "Save."

  3. Step 3

Specify the wording you want to use in the box. For example, type "Send Me A Message," "Message" or "Message Me." Enter your selected words in the boxes provided.

  4. Step 4

Choose a font, color and size of the text to use in the MySpace contact box from the list provided. Most generators allow you to preview each selection.

  5. Step 5

Click "Get Code" or "MySpace Code." Highlight the code, right-click and select "Copy."

  6. Step 6

Edit your MySpace layout through your MySpace page. Sign in to MySpace and go to your page. Select "Edit" located under your picture. Paste the code in the "About Me" section in your profile. Select "Save."
