How to Defeat Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time With a Bottle

"The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" was the true breakout title for the series. It transformed the Zelda saga from a simple well-made platformer to a multi-platform epic. The final series of fights against Ganondorf (and his power charged form, Ganon) form one of the first truly epic battles in console history.

Instructions

1. Equip an empty bottle in your main hand. Wait for the cut scene to finish.

2. Swing your bottle at the energy spheres that Ganondorf shoots at you. If your timing is right, you'll knock the spheres back at your enemy. He'll try to deflect it back at you, making a kind of video ping-pong. Eventually, one of the spheres will strike him, and he'll be momentarily stunned.

3. Shoot your Light Arrow at him and he'll fall to the floor. Run over to Ganondorf and strike him as many times as you can.

4. Repeat the swing/shoot/strike combo a few times and down he goes.

Tips & Warnings

• The bottle is a good item for the energy ping-pong because of its swing speed. It has the fastest swing rate of any item in your arsenal, making the timing much easier.
