A loincloth, also known as a breechclout, is a piece of material made from animal skins or sheets that men put on to cover their genitalia. Besides being an undergarment, men use it in some societies to express that they're sober. Cut a piece of cloth about 10 inches wide and 10 feet long. A sheet works perfectly for this. A solid color works best but you can use patterned sheets if desired or if solid colored material isn't available.

Hold one end of the loincloth up with your non-dominant hand. It should be about chin height from the floor. The length that remains will be the apron.

Pass the loincloth between your thighs from the front. Bring it back around from the right to the left.

Wrap the loincloth around your waist. As soon as it gets to the back, double the loincloth over and send it beneath the rest of you positioned between your legs. This will form a loop that you will yank on to tighten the belt and pouch.

Tips & Warnings
Have someone assist you to put on the loincloth the first couple of times, as it can be rather tricky.
Some materials are irritating to the skin so you should avoid using them as loincloths. Make sure that the material you use is comfortable before you put on the loincloth.
