You're looking for a refreshing summer drink with plenty of ice. If you love the flavor of lemonade but want something a little different, try making a limeade icee.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Gather several large ice cubes. Add the ice cubes to a blender with 1 cup of lime juice. Pour in enough cold water to cover the ice. You want to leave about ½ an inch from the top of the blender so the ice has room to expand when crushed.

  2. Step 2

Blend the drink by crushing the ice into a slushy liquid. Pour into individual glasses. Add slices of lime for decoration.

  3. Step 3

Make an individual glass of limeade ice by pouring ½ an inch of lime cordial into a tall glass. Fill the glass with ice and add enough water to fill the cup. The lime cordial creates a sweeter drink than using regular lime juice.

  4. Step 4

Create different limeade drinks by adding a variety of flavors to your cup. You can add mint and jalapeño peppers for an exotic taste or combine other fruit like strawberries with the lime.

  5. Step 5

Add a squeeze of lemon juice to your drink if you want a lemon lime flavored icee. Slice a lemon and add two or three slices to your drink.

  6. Step 6

Create a cherry limeade icee by combining frozen limeade or lemon lime soda and ice with grenadine. Add maraschino cherries and lime slices to create a fancy looking drink.

Tips & Warnings
  • Sweeten your drink with 1 tbsp. of honey.
