How to Find Out One's Birthstone

Finding out your birthstone is not an easy task these days. There are different birthstones depending on the chart. You can find traditional birthstones, modern birthstones, mystical birthstones, ayurvedic birthstones and other birthstones. Therefore, you need to know what your birthstones are in order to know which you would like to wear. Does this Spark an idea?

      Look at the traditional birthstones. These are January which is garnet; February is amethyst; March is bloodstone; April is diamond; May is emerald; June is alexandrite; July is ruby; August is sardonyx; September is sapphire; October is tourmaline; November is citrine; and December is zircon or lapis lazuli.

      Check out the modern birthstones. Modern birthstones are the same as traditional except for March, which is aquamarine; June, which is pearl or moonstone; August, which is peridot; October, which is opal or tourmaline; November, which is yellow topaz or citrine; and December, which is turquoise, blue topaz and tanzanite.

      Get mystical birthstones. These include emerald for January; bloodstone for February; jade for March; opal for April; sapphire for May; moonstone for June; ruby for July; diamond for August; agate for September; jasper for October; pearl for November; and onyx for December.

      Find ayurvedic birthstones. These are the same as traditional birthstones with the following exceptions: May is agate; June is pearl; August is sapphire; September is moonstone; October is opal; November is topaz; and December is ruby.

      Decide on other birthstones. There are other birthstones based on Arabic, Hebrew, Hindu, Italian, Polish, Roman, and Russian ancient cultures. Needless to say depending on what chart you care to use depends on what birthstone you want to call your own.
