How to Get Free Needles in RuneScape
If you want to make clothes or leather armor in RuneScape, you need to have Needles. If you don't want to spend your hard-earned money to get them, take advantage of the many ways to find free needles in RuneScape.

Find haystacks or hay bales. Haystacks and hay bales can be found near most farms in RuneScape. Some of the most common farms are southeast of Draynor Manor and just north of East Ardougne.

Right click on a haystack or hay bale and use the "search" action. Your player will search it and a message will appear stating if you found a needle or found nothing.

Dig at the Digsite if you have completed the Digsite Quest. Find the Digsite past the fence west of Varrock. Take your trowel with you and dig; one of the items you can find by digging is a needle.

Follow the dirt trail in the Lumbridge swamp west of Lumbridge and find the building that is marked by an exclamation point on the map. This is the H.A.M. Headquarters, and inside you can find H.A.M. guards, which range from level 12 to 22. Kill guards to retrieve their drops; occasionally they will drop needles.

Ask other players for needles if you don't want to go through the work to find them yourself. You might find someone willing to give you one for free.

The Digsite is a members-only area. If you are not a paid member, you will not be able to look for needles at the Digsite.
Most RuneScape players don't take kindly to other players asking for free stuff. Avoid resorting to asking for free needles if you can.
