How to Perform Pro Wrestling Moves

Contrary to public belief, pro wrestling moves are not fake. Instead, they are choreographed. Regardless of whether or not the wrestlers perform the pro wrestling moves as choreographed, there's still associated pain. However, knowing how to perform the pro wrestling moves will help minimize the pain and possible injuries. The steps below will go over three of the most basic pro wrestling moves.

Instructions

  1. The Choke Slam

    • 1

Put each of your hands on your opponent's neck to simulate choking him. Do not actually choke the opponent.

    • 2

Place both of your opponent's arms over your arms, so now you're holding your opponent's neck with his arms on top of yours.

    • 3

Lift your opponent as high as you can. This will require a lot of strength. To avoid injuries, lift with your legs. You will also need to lift with your arms to get full extension. Some wrestlers perform this pro wrestling move with the help of the opponent, who will inconspicuously jump a little bit.

    • 4

Slam the opponent to the mat, back first.

    The Body Slam

    • 5

Pick up your opponent; remember to lift with your legs.

    • 6

Position your opponent in a way that will be conducive to slamming him on his back.

    • 7

Slam the opponent onto the mat, back first.

    The DDT

    • 8

Kick your opponent in the abdomen, causing him to lean forward.

    • 9

Tuck the opponent's head into your armpit in a manner in which he is facing opposite of you.

    • 10

Fall backward so that your opponent is forced to land face first into the mat.

Tips & Warnings

  • This move requires a lot of physical strength and should not be tried by novices.

  • Make certain you slam the opponent on his back. If overdone, the opponent could land on his neck, causing serious injury or death.

  • All pro wrestling moves should be practiced, and each wrestler should have a good understanding of how to perform each pro wrestling move prior to executing the move. In short, pro wrestling moves are intended for entertainment and should be rehearsed.
