How to Have Fun at Home on a Friday Night

You can still have a fun Friday night even if you don't go out. You can create some great memories by making Friday night into family night.

Instructions

1. Start a ritual for Friday night as family time with pizza and a movie. Alternate who gets to pick the topping of the pizza and the movie to rent.

2. Make Friday nights at home ice cream sundae night. After dinner, set up an ice cream sundae bar. Choose different flavors of ice cream and toppings each week.

3. Play board games as a family, choose how many games you will play that night, alternating who picks the game. Once a month, invite other families over to join in on the fun and have them bring a favorite game to play.

4. Organize a picnic dinner for inside or outside. In nice weather, you can have a picnic dinner in your yard or on a porch. During the winter, set up on your family room floor and pretend you're outside.

5. Camp out in your yard or another room in your house. If you have tent equipment, consider camping out in your back yard. If not, set up camp in your family room, playroom or kid's bedroom.
