How to Go Off Roading

Off roading can be a great experience if done correctly and so that you do not injure anyone in the car or elsewhere. It is best done in far-off areas like farmland or in the country. It is an adrenaline pumping sport, so make sure you have your seat belt on.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Jack
  • Extra oil
  • Spare tire
Step1
Choose an off road vehicle to go off roading. Jeeps and other SUVs are the best for off roading on ground and through mud. You will most likely get this vehicle very messy by the time you are done.
Step2
Make sure you have other supplies inside your car, truck or jeep. Sometimes, when people go off roading, they get stuck in the mud and might need a car jack, a new tire, oil and other tools.
Step3
Start by finding a trail of some sort, and make sure it is a bit rocky. Going off roading on a flat surface generally isn't that much of an experience unless done in mud.
Step4
Start driving down the trail and watch out for huge rocks. They can severely damage your off road vehicle and put your car, truck or jeep out of commission.
Step5
Remember to keep your eyes open as you swerve and drive over little hills. Try not to get "high" on the off roading and go overboard, as you might damage your car or injure passengers. Always wear your seat belt.
