When playing "Call of Duty 4," you may have noticed other players running around with golden weapons. The golden weapon shows other players the skill you possess and all the hard work you have put into the game. You can also gain this status symbol if you prove your metal the right challenges.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Play the online multiplayer version of "Call of Duty 4." The golden guns are only unlocked in this mode.

Reach Level 55 to unlock the golden Desert Eagle. Remember, you will lose this weapon, along with any other unlockables, if you choose to use Prestige Mode.

  4. Step 4

Unlock the golden AK-47 assault rifle by completing all of the Assault challenges. This includes completing all the challenges for the other weapons under the assault rifle class. The golden weapon becomes an option when you choose the finish in the "Create a Class" menu.

Tips & Warnings
  • Wait until Prestige Level 10 to unlock golden weapons if you don't want to lose your golden weapons in Prestige Mode. Level 10 is the highest Prestige level.
  • Choosing to go into Prestige Mode takes away everything you unlocked, including any golden weapons.
