How to Cure a Sore Throat With Tomato Juice
A sore throat caused by viruses, bacterial infections or strenuous vocal activity can lead to discomfort in your day-to-day life by being painful and interrupting communication. However, tomato juice may be able to ease and cure your sore throat.
Things You'll Need
- Tomato juice
- Cayenne pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- Lemon juice
- Spoon
- Water
- Cup

Buy a can of tomato juice, fresh garlic, cayenne pepper and a lemon.

Peel and mince 2 cloves of garlic and juice 1 lemon.

Pour 1/2 cup of tomato juice into a sauce pan and warm the tomato juice on the stove. Stir it regularly while adding 1/2 cup of hot water.

Stir the 2 cloves of minced garlic and 1 tsp. of ground cayenne pepper into the mixture of tomato juice and water. Add the freshly-squeezed lemon juice into the mixture for a better taste.

Turn off the stove, transfer the sauce pan to a non-heated burner and allow the mixture to cool.

Pour the mixture into a drinking cup.

Inhale the garlic scent for a few seconds before gargling the mixture and swallowing. Repeat until no mixture remains.

Tips & Warnings
You may substitute cayenne pepper with chili powder or about 10 drops of hot pepper sauce.
Visit a doctor if your sore throat persists for more than 4 or 5 days. Your sore throat may be a symptom of a more serious condition.
