1
Buy a container of plain, nonfat yogurt, gel food coloring, white construction paper and some small containers in which to place the yogurt. To cut down on clean up time, consider purchasing a pack of small yogurts.
-
2
Open the container of yogurt and spoon yogurt into the small containers. Alternatively, you may open the small, prepackaged yogurt containers.
-
-
3
Add a few drops of food coloring to each yogurt container and mix well with a spoon. Experiment by combining colors to create new colors.
-
4
Place the child into a high chair or another comfortable seat. Place a piece of construction paper and the yogurt containers on flat surface in front of him.
-
5
Let children express themselves using the yogurt finger paint. Show your child how to finger paint with the yogurt if she is new to the craft.
-
6
Allow the yogurt to dry and keep his shiny artwork. Hang it up on your refrigerator for everyone to see.
-
7
Store unused portions of yogurt finger paint in a refrigerator to use later.
