      Squeeze enough lemons to get ΒΌ cup of fresh lemon juice. Add six drops of vanilla extract to the cup of lemon juice and stir until both ingredients mix thoroughly.

      Add 1 cup of water to a saucepan. Add the lemon juice and vanilla extract mixture to the saucepan.

      Heat the solution on the stove on a high setting. Cover the saucepan with a lid when it reaches a boil and let it boil for 2 minutes.

      Place the saucepan in the refrigerator. Leave the saucepan and the solution in the refrigerator to cool for 5 minutes.

      Remove the saucepan from the refrigerator. Boil the vanilla and lemon juice solution again by following step 3.

      Transfer the mixture to a clean glass container after it's finished its second 2-minute boiling. Refrigerate the solution for at least 1 hour.
