How to Make Perfume With Vanilla Extract

A sweet smelling vanilla extract based perfume is waiting to be made in your kitchen. Simply gather fresh lemon juice, vanilla extract and a saucepan from your kitchen and buy a glass container and a perfume bottle to be on your way to making your own trademark vanilla extract perfume.

Things You'll Need

• Vanilla extract
• Fresh lemons
• Sauce pan
• Stovetop burner
• Perfume bottle
• Glass container
• Refrigerator

Instructions

1. Squeeze enough lemons to get ¼ cup of fresh lemon juice. Add six drops of vanilla extract to the cup of lemon juice and stir until both ingredients mix thoroughly.

2. Add 1 cup of water to a saucepan. Add the lemon juice and vanilla extract mixture to the saucepan.

3. Heat the solution on the stove on a high setting. Cover the saucepan with a lid when it reaches a boil and let it boil for 2 minutes.

4. Place the saucepan in the refrigerator. Leave the saucepan and the solution in the refrigerator to cool for 5 minutes.

5. Remove the saucepan from the refrigerator. Boil the vanilla and lemon juice solution again by following step 3.

6. Transfer the mixture to a clean glass container after it's finished its second 2-minute boiling. Refrigerate the solution for at least 1 hour.

7. Pour the vanilla extract and lemon juice perfume into a new perfume bottle.
