Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Start Microsoft Word and open an existing file that creates a field in it that you want to display as text instead of a field result. You also have the option of starting a new blank document and inserting a field code into the document.
Step2
Select the field result in your document that you want to display as text by highlighting the field result text with your mouse. The selection will be highlighted with a dark gray indicating you have selected a field result.
Step3
Use the keyboard shortcut of CTRL+SHIFT+F9. The selected field will now be changed to hard text instead of the field result.
Step4
Choose the "File" menu and click the "Save" button when you are finished working on the document. The next time you open the document, the text will be displayed instead of the field result.
