Things You'll Need:
- Paper
- Pencil
- Pictures of Simba
-
Step 1
Start by drawing Simba's face. Make a circle the size you want his head to be. Add a curved line down the middle vertically and another horizontally.
-
Step 2
Draw the ears attached to each side of the upper portion of the circle. The middle of each ear must be in the middle of the horizontal line. Add the chin to the bottom of the circle with the vertical line in the middle.
-
Step 3
Look at a picture of Simba as an adult and as a child depending on which you're drawing as a guide. Add the eyes within each of the top quarters of your circle. The nose should be where your horizontal and vertical lines meet, and include the details of fur, mouth and teeth with the mouth attached to the bottom of the nose.
-
Step 4
Add the guidelines for the body. Make a line from the top circle of the head to where you want the end of the body to be out to the right side. Draw two circles on that line for the body with a slightly larger one close to the head and the smaller one out to the right.
-
Step 5
Connect the two circles by making one line from the top side of each circle to the other. Make a rounded connection from the underside of each circle which will be his stomach. Draw one more line from the middle of the top circle to the middle of the stomach line you just created.
-
Step 6
Make the rest of the body by attaching the head to the top body circle with one short line on either side to create a neck. Start with the front legs next with the first beginning just to the left of the front of your stomach line, and the next right beside it. The back legs should come off the stomach, and the others off the smallest circle.
-
Step 7
Erase all of your guide lines that come out from Simba's head and body. Add details such as fur and anything else missing. Correct any mistakes and color him in.
