The Mirage OS, as CalG.org describes it, offers "file information, file sorting, a folder based GUI to password protection, file management options and file icons." However, there may come a time that you may wish to bypass a Mirage OS password.

Change the Password via the Battery

Step1
Remove the batteries from the calculator to bypass the Mirage OS password. This clears the memory in the RAM.
Step2
Reinstall the battery in the calculator.
Step3
Bypass the Mirage OS password now that you cleared the memory.

Change the Password via the Memory

Step1
Go the second memory in your calculator to bypass the Mirage OS password. Press "2" to access the memory, or scroll until you reach "Mem Mgmt/Del."
Step2
Press "ALPHA B" in the memory menu, or scroll down until you reach "AppVars" and go to "MirageOS."
Step3
Delete "MirageOS" by pressing the "DEL" button. If prompted to confirm this command, scroll to "yes" and press the "ENTER" button when you bypass Mirage OS password.
Step4
Return to "App MirageOS." You no longer have to enter a password.

Change the Password via Self-Test Method

Step1
Press "mode" when bypassing the Mirage OS password, then press "alpha" plus "s" and "OK." Allow the self test to begin; this process will erase the RAM memory.
Step2
Enter the program without entering a password.
Step3
Delete the "appvar" if you are not successful erasing the password through the self test. Now you will be able to bypass the Mirage OS password.
