Improving vision is perhaps the best-known herbal benefit of drinking chrysanthemum tea. The remedy, used in China for thousands of years, improves cloudy vision, relieves strain from reading, working and computer use, soothes itchy eyes caused by allergies and improves dry eyes. It is simple to boost your vision with chrysanthemum tea.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Know that if you're given the choice, white chrysanthemums are best for soothing the eyes and improving vision. Yellow chrysanthemums are also available, but they are used for other health issues.

  2. Step 2

Prepare chrysanthemum tea by steeping tea bags in hot water for up to 5 minutes. Add a teaspoon or sugar or honey to improve the taste if needed.

  3. Step 3

Drink chrysanthemum tea hot or refrigerate it to make iced tea. There's no limit to how much you can drink because chrysanthemum tea isn't a Western medicine.

  4. Step 4

Have 2 to 4 cups of chrysanthemum tea a day to improve your vision. Because it's rich in antioxidants, over time it can help relieve pressure on your eye, which can lead to vision problems.

  5. Step 5

Use chrysanthemum flower buds to make tea. Steep 10 to 20 of them in a tea pot. Add boiling water and pour into a tea cup. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes before drinking.

  6. Step 6

Relieve eye strain and soreness by placing warm tea bags on your eyelids. Keep them there until they cool, then replace with new warm bags.
