Get the full functionality of your graphing calculator by using it as your pocket organizer. Many graphing calculators come pre-loaded with organizing software that can help you keep track of schedules, to-do lists and contact information. Even if your calculator does not come pre-loaded, you can download organizing software from the Internet. Eliminate the need to carry two electronic devices when one device will perform everything you require.

Things You’ll Need:

  • TI-84 Plus graphing calculator

Step1
Access the Organizer main menu which lists options such as Address, Schedule and Tasks.
Step2
Select "Address" to view stored contact information. Select "New" to enter a name, phone number, email address or mailing address.
Step3
Schedule an appointment by selecting the "Schedule" option. Enter a date, start and end time, and additional notes.
Step4
Create a list of tasks by date. Enter the status as pending or completed to track when assignments are due and summarize completed tasks.
Step5
Use the built-in calendar to see daily, weekly and yearly information at a touch of a button.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remember to save after entering contact, schedule or task information to avoid losing the entries when you turn the calculator off or exit the organizer application.
