How to Wear Makeup Like Liv Tyler

To wear makeup like Liv Tyler, the completed look must be clean, fresh and almost natural looking except, of course, for the lips. It's no secret that Liv inherited the full lips of her father, Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith, and it's this part of her face that she highlights. Here are some steps you can take to wear makeup like Liv Tyler.

• Matte foundation
• Black eyeliner
• Pale pink blush
• Earth-toned eye shadow
• Black mascara
• Sheer lip gloss

1. Apply a matte foundation. Tyler is the face of Givenchy cosmetics, and she swears by their products. Her foundation of choice is Givency's Subli' Mine Sculpt Light Makeup Cream. A cheaper version of this product is Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse.

2. Move on to your cheeks. Along with full lips, Liv is blessed with incredible bone structure, which is why she wears little blush. Choose a pale pink color, such as MAC Cosmetics True Romantic powder blush.

3. Line your eyes. With an eyeliner pencil, line the tops and bottoms of your eyes and blend using a tissue. Choose black, charcoal or brown/black for your eyeliner color.

4. Apply eye shadow. Liv wears soft earth tones, such as mauves, greens and browns. Choose an earth-toned color palate and sweep a light coat of the darker color between the bottom of your eyelid to your crease, the medium tone from the crease to the bottom of the brow bone, and then sweep a lightest color over your brow bone.

5. Put on your mascara. Liv's mascara is always black. She uses Givenchy's Eye Fly Mascara in Fly Black, but a less expensive black mascara such as Great Lash by Maybelline in Blackest Black or L'Oreal's Voluminous mascara in Carbon Black will do. Apply to both bottom and top lashes.

6. Choose sheer colors for your lips with raspberry, light plum or red undertones. Consider Givenchy's Pop Gloss Crystal Gloss in Enjoy Red or Givenchy's Interdit Satin lipstick in Illicit Raspberry.
