One of the hardest hitting heavyweights in professional boxing, Wladimir Klitschko's right hand hits like a proverbial freight train. His straight rights have ended many of his matches, catching unwary opponents off guard in the body or chin. Learn how to throw a straight right like Klitschko with the following steps.

Instructions

Step1
Come hard off your back foot. Klitschko uses his tree-trunk legs to put power into his punches. Get a firm stance and use your thigh muscles to propel yourself into your punch.
Step2
Use your lower torso to twist more energy into the punch. Klitschko's massively muscled torso allows his to bring while whole body to bear when throwing straight rights.
Step3
Open your opponent's guard up with jabs. Klitschko will paw at his opponents with hard left jabs, putting them on the defensive. This also helps to feel out the range of your opponent. When his opponent comes up too high with his guard to block a jab, Klitschko will sledgehammer in with a straight right.
Step4
