Ken Paves is a well-known hair stylist to many celebrities such as Jessica and Ashlee Simpson and Eva Longoria. His style of hair is usually sexy and sultry and can be classic or modern, which makes it a great choice for special occasions such as a wedding. Use these steps to learn to style hair like Ken Paves the next time you or a friends needs a special hair style.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Learn from you mom, Vidal Sassoon or another accredited hair salon if you can. That was how Ken learned to style hair, but if you haven't quite made it that far, you can still manage to imitate his work.

  2. Step 2

Start by using the same products that he uses. Ken Paves has his own line of hair-styling and care products, called Flawless. Wash your hair in shampoo and conditioner and dry it thoroughly, adding some of his Red Carpet Mousse. Healthy hair is the main component of a Ken Paves' style, and it helps the hair hold its style.

  3. Step 3

Flip through books and magazines to get an idea of the look you're going for. Tabloid magazines are a good way to find styles created by Ken Paves, and often even get tips on how to copy them. Consider the event you are going to, whether it is indoors or outside, your clothing and most importantly the length and texture of your hair.

  4. Step 4

Choose a style you're comfortable with and give yourself plenty of time to style it. Practice a few days before the event. Base your style on classics such as Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot like Ken does.

  5. Step 5

Go for a style with loose waves if you have long hair or a layered bob-like look for slightly shorter hair. Use your fingers to place curls in the position you want them as well as any pieces that frame your face and use hair spray to help them stay.
